It never fails that travel changes us from the very depth of our souls outward. I always adore hearing that the fashion lines of some of my favorite designers and the work of some of my favorite artists were inspired by a place or a city. With a background in design I seek all aspects and genres of design to add to my photographs, art work and the interiors of my home. So the other day when I went searching for a new dress, something that melds my love of the design and detail of India, I certainly wasn’t surprised to find myself drawn to these. Asos has such an appealing collection of dresses, fun prints and feminine lines, two things I lust after in a dress. I’m a dress girl and as I take my self, transformed, back to my home I need some new threads in my closet. I’ve adapted my wardrobe here to survive the heat and to meet the modest community in which I’ve been a guest, but now I’m ready to get back to showing off my legs and couldn’t help but think these would remind me of some of my favorite destinations in India. What do you guys think? How does travel influence your wardrobe?
